Biography

Melanie Mena is a junior with a public relations major and a graphic design minor at William Paterson University. When Mena graduates in May 2019, she plans a career in travel PR.

As a public relations major, Mena’s curriculum included classes in journalism and media in society. She received hands-on experience in her sorority being historian and head of social media which focused on taking footage and working on the sorority’s image.

As a resident of Springfield, Mena graduated from Jonathan Dayton H.S. where she excelled in her honors art program.

Additionally, Mena works three jobs, one being at New York Sports Club as a front desk receiver to contribute to pay for her tuition.
